Kogi-based political group, Progressive Youth Alliance (PYA) has cautioned the national administration of the All Progressives Congress (APC), not to fall into the trick of the occupant Governor, Yahaya Bello, depicting him as "a looming threat whenever permitted to be the party's banner carrier in the prospective Kogi gubernatorial election".
The party gave the notice on Monday at a public interview held in Lokoja, where it announced that what the state as of now needs is an unselfish, educated, balanced and a flawless character to lead the issues of the state.
The representative of the group, Mr. Amos Alfa, told newsmen that Bello's administration will go down in the historical backdrop of Kogi State as the
“most atrocious, given the backlog of debts, accrued pension, refusal to pay workers’ salary, absence of probity in the management of resources, and deficient public service management”.
